Kaleighan Mills, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker and received her Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology at Stony Brook University and Masters degree in Social Work at Long Island University.
Kaleighan specializes in working with young adults battling anxiety, depression, family stressors and trauma. She also has experience working with young children, adolescents and their families in foster care prevention, the juvenile court systems and school based settings.She assists clients with anxiety, depression, adverse childhood experiences, trauma and life transitions through evidence based treatments such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing modalities. She additionally has experience working with clients who have a history of suicidal ideation and self-harm. Kaleighan provides an open, accepting and collaborative environment to help individuals with difficult challenges and stressors.
Kaleighan is passionate about assisting clients in recognizing their strengths and finding their voice to utilize through difficult situations. She promotes advocacy for self care practice and helps clients explore opportunities for personal growth.
