Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Masters in Social Work from SUNY University at Buffalo. Andreas education and training focused on understanding how trauma can affect the lives and mental health of the clients she works with. She has years of experience working with children, teens, families, and maternal and perinatal health.
Andrea uses a variety of Evidence Based methods in her therapy practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Supportive Talk Therapy and Play Therapy. She has experience working with individuals who face challenges associated with depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, family issues as well as a range of many other needs. Andrea has a deep understanding of how underlying mental health needs, daily stressors, and different life circumstances can cause negative feelings that can become difficult to deal with. She strongly believes that each individual has their own path to healing and is deserving of the support they need to be successful.
In her free time Andrea enjoys doing yoga, hiking, and watching comical movies. She enjoys music, cooking, and being outdoors with her friends and family. Andrea’s warm and compassionate approach has enabled her to be successful in impacting the lives of the many individuals she has worked with throughout the years.
