Psychotherapist
Haley Cabassa is a Licensed Master Social Worker and received her Masters degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Haley’s experience includes working with children, adolescents, families and adults in various settings including residential treatment programs, private practice, and human service agencies. She assists clients in overcoming self-harm, coping with anxiety, depression, trauma and family issues through evidence based treatments. Some of the modalities she utilizes are TF-CBT, play therapy, art therapy, spiritual counseling, meditation/mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and solution focused therapy. Haley tailors her therapeutic treatment modalities to the needs of each client, ensuring a person-centered approach. Haley believes that every person has a voice that should be heard. She believes life is about progress and not perfection. Beginning with self-awareness allows one to start their journey of self- discovery and creating the world they want to live in.
