Psychotherapist
Amanda is a Licensed Master Social Worker who received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Amanda has experience working with Veterans, adults, and adolescents in various settings including hospitals and community based programs. She has worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD. Some evidence-based treatments Amanda utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Amanda believes in a person-centered approach when utilizing treatment modalities in efforts to meet the needs of each client. She provides her clients with the additional skills and knowledge to live a more productive and fulfilling life. Working with Amanda, you will feel supported, welcomed, validated, and hopeful.
