Caitlyn is a Licensed Master Social Worker and received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Social Work and Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. Caitlyn also holds her certification as a Master CASAC. Caitlyn’s training includes a strength based approach when working with her clients.
Caitlyn has various experience working with adolescents, families, and adults. Her therapy approach is providing evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. She has experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and family issues. Caitlyn comes from a deep understanding that life keeps going even if we want to get off of the ride of life. We all have different stories and she thrives to address each individual with their own plan of peace, happiness and success.
In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys traveling and exploring new cities, going on nature walks, listening to music and spending time with her cat Peanut. Caitlyn believes that ” we all have a story but it’s all about how we make a new chapter of that story”. Caitlyn is committed to helping her clients develop the skills and knowledge needed to live a healthy, productive life.
