Jonathan Nieman is a Licensed Master Social Worker who believes deeply in the inner resilience and determination of every individual. He approaches therapy with the conviction that people have the strength within themselves to heal, grow, and overcome life’s challenges when given the right support and tools.
Jonathan earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He brings a wealth of experience from both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, where he has supported individuals facing a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges.
Jonathan is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and he uses these evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand and regulate their emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and build more fulfilling lives. His therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that with the right guidance, people are capable of meaningful and lasting change.
Whether working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or addiction, Jonathan creates a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
