Psychotherapist
Gina is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She did her undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice at Farmingdale State College and has her Masters degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Gina has experience in working with children and adolescents individually and in group settings. She has worked with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, ADHD, family issues, trauma, behavioral issues and suicidal ideation. She utilizes evidence based practices as her therapeutic approach including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, strengths based perspective and mindfulness/meditation practices. She believes in a person centered approach to meet the needs and treatment goals of the client.
Gina creates a safe space to assist clients to freely express their feelings, discover their uninhibited potential and reach their goals.
